Why
a 2 year licence?
The first version (v1) of SNAP was published as a 'research version',
which has subsequently been enhanced, extended and updated. It is hoped that
continuing feedback from users, plus new developments in our understanding
of children's difficulties and how to respond to them, will further
contribute to ongoing revision and refinement, such that future
versions will consolidate the cumulative experiences of SNAP users
and other practitioners in responding to the difficulties identified.
The two-year licence means that all users will benefit from this
process.
The two-year CD-ROM licence also helps to ensure that, in a potentially
‘high stakes’ assessment context, SNAP will continue
to provide a ‘common currency’- which would not be achievable
if successive revisions were to coexist indefinitely.
You can preview and print the licence terms and conditions which
you will be asked to accept before you can install and use the full
SNAP programs.
